Moerdijk Live Xperience: 3 reasons to attend in person
Only a few days are left for Moerdijk Live Xperience – an exciting industry event with a large equipment auction and other mini events. On 10 – 12 October, professionals across the heavy equipment industry are coming together in Moerdijk, The Netherlands, for one of the biggest equipment events of the year, and we have collected three convincing reasons why you should not miss it:
#1 See the live auction back in action
When COVID-19 broke out, Ritchie Bros. pivoted to online auctions, leveraging its popular and easy-to-use Timed Auction system. For this special, episodic event in Moerdijk, Ritchie Bros.’ auctioneers and bid catchers will return to Moerdijk to sell a large selection of equipment on the first two days of the auction. Other items will be sold via convenient online Timed Auctions, which are open to bid for several days and closing at staggered times during the auction days.
Various equipment owners have consigned 3600+ lots for this auction: Hydraulic and mini excavators, wheel loaders, telescopic forklifts, dump trucks, graders, dozers, compactors, scissor lifts, boom lifts, tractors, trucks, and more make up a wide range of the Moerdijk Live Xperience inventory.
| Did you know? On the afternoon of 10 October, Ritchie Bros. will host an additional auction featuring high-quality equipment from Irish quarrying contractor McCabe Earthworks, which bidders can join live online or in person at the Moerdijk site. #2 Find out the latest market trends from industry experts
On Tuesday, 10 October, at 14:00 CET, Ritchie Bros. will host an Insights session at Moerdijk Live Xperience, featuring presentations and a panel discussion with leading industry experts. Among them are Sebastian Popp (CECE), Chris Sleight (Off-Highway Research), and Alex Schuessler (SmartEquip). The session will cover the biggest trends affecting the heavy equipment industry in Europe in 2023 and what we can expect for 2024. Attendance is free. Recordings of the session will be made available afterward on the Ritchie Bros. blog.
