Our report for Q1 of 2026 takes a closer look at the European supply, demand, and sales of crawler excavators to mini excavators, wheel loaders, telescopic forklifts, tractors, as well as panel vans.

Key highlights for Q1:

• Crawler excavators: 12.5% increase in median auction price at Ritchie Bros., with auction sales volumes up 48%.
• Mini excavators: Auction sales volumes up 34%.
• Wheel loaders: 16% increase in Mascus buyer demand compared to 2025, with auction sales also up 9%.
• Telescopic forklifts: 12.5% increase in median auction price at Ritchie Bros. – the only category to also show a supply increase on Mascus.
• Tractors: 15% decrease in listings on Mascus – the steepest supply contraction across all categories.
• Panel vans: Auction sales volumes up 40%, with buyer demand on Mascus led by Germany, France, and Austria.
